It’s clear Wack, a Neo-Dance Psychedelia band from Vancouver, BC, has set their focus on the dance floor. Their 5 members: Rodo, Michael, Marie, Eduardo and Pasang, chase that infectious groove usually only found at underground raves and after-hours clubs. Taking inspiration from club DJs, they’ve crafted their live set to transition seamlessly between tracks while also paying homage to: Talking Heads, LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture. Bundle that with the diverse backgrounds of Wack’s members: Nepal, Brazil, Mexico, Indigenous Canada, Ukraine, and Canada, and you get a unique perspective on dance music. With songs that ensure the audience is moving – Wack’s live shows are an infectious, high-energy experience that will leave you sweaty and fulfilled 🙂
